They have become the modules for a very modern kind of poetry: the poetry of the hyperreal. (Hyperreal as defined by my old apocalyptic friend Jean Baudrillard)

Herr Pulgar lebt ja gar nicht mehr. Doch sein Werk, das ist unsterblich. Deshalb hat es eine Art Weltkulturerbestatus erhalten und zwar vom Tatort sonntagszwanziguhrfünfzehn, Folge 773. Konkret handelte es sich um ein Poster der berühmten Deckelperformance, das neben Mao Platz neben durfte in der Galerie, in der sich diesmal der Mord zutrug. Zum besseren Verständnis hier erstmal noch ein Abbild ohne Kommissare.

(A visit to the industry)
Die geheimnisvolle Industrie, ich wollte schon immer wissen, wie die eigentlich von innen aussieht. Ich habe ihr also einen Besuch abgestattet. Und damit auch die Nachwelt von meinen Erkundungen erfährt, habe ich alles niedergeschrieben, abgetippt und zusammengebunden zu einem Buch. Bestellungen können ab sofort im Sekretariat abgegeben werden. Frl. Kettner nimmt sie dort entgegen.
The mysterious industry, I always wanted to how it looked from inside. So i popped by for a visit one day. In order to deliver the results of my investigation to posterity I wrote everything down, typed it and bound it to a book. It can be purchased from our administration office. Miss Kettner shall be happy to receive your orders.

East London was said to need more visitors, which I don't believe is true.
I followed the attracting-tourist-brief anyway. And thought these people might as well make some effort if they really want to know where to go. Now they have to take some pens and "colour in in order to find out". What a slogan.

Marlene Dietrichs heimlicher Bekannter

Marlene Dietrich hatte einen Freund unglamouröser Natur und den in Stockholm. Die Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin war selbstverständlich eingeweiht und bat mich, die Zeugnisse dieser Freundschaft (Manuskripte, Briefe, Fotos) in einem Buch zusammenzufassen. Achtung: Dies ist eine Privatpublikation und nicht käuflich zu erwerben.
Marlene Dietrich had a private friend in Stockholm and hardly anybody knew about him. The Deutsche Kinemathek did and asked me to put together the evidences of the friendship (scripts, letters, photographs) in a book. Note: This is a private publication and not for sale.
